Ea reveals xbox one subscription service 'EA Access'

EA has revealed a subscription service for Xbox One that serves up EA games for a monthly or annual fee.
For $4.99 a month, or $29.99 a year, Xbox One owners will get access to 'The Vault', a PlayStation Plus-like collection of games available to download and play at no additional cost.
The Vault will start off with FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 during a 'beta' period, with more games to be added later.
Subscribers will also get a 10 per cent discount on EA digital content for Xbox One, including full digital titles, DLC and DLC season passes such as Battlefield Premium.
Early access to games will also be a benefit, with subscribers able to download full games up to five days ahead of launch and play for "at least two hours", and carry over your saved progress to the full game should you decide to make the purchase.
Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition will be among the first games to take advantage of the early access scheme.
EA Access is similar in many ways to Sony's own 'PlayStation Plus' subscription service, which also offers access to a new batch of 'Instant Game Collection' titles each month, discounts of digital content and other perks for PS3, PS4 and Vita owners for $49.99 a year.
EA Access is being "rolled out in beta to a limited number of players" today (July 29). EA is yet to confirm a final launch date more specific than "soon". Memberships will be purchasable via GameStop in US, Amazon in Europe, and EB Games in Canada. You can, however, register your interest in the service now via theofficial site.
"At EA, we are always looking for new ways to make it easier for gamers to play more EA games across all platforms, and we are excited about what EA Access will offer to players on Xbox One," commented the publisher in the announcement.

Halo Nightfall lead character revealed

Microsoft has provided the first look at Agent Locke, the main character in upcoming live-action Halo series Halo Nightfall.
Agent Locke will be played by Mike Colter (The Good Wife, American Horror Story, Zero Dark Thirty), who was rumoured to be involved in the project back in April.
According to Variety, Agent Locke is a member of the Office of Naval Intelligence. His team is sent to investigate terrorist activity on a distant colony and discovers an "ancient, hellish artefact".
Agent Locke will also play a "major role" in the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox One.
Colter told Variety that he had no prior knowledge of the Halo series, but signed up for the project because the "script was incredibly gripping", adding: "It introduces an intriguing and mysterious world that I wanted to know more about.
"Fortunately, ensuring accessibility to a broad audience is one of the things that [Ridley Scott's production company] Scott Free TV and 343 values first and foremost.
"Not only does Halo: Nightfall cater to the hardcore Halo fans, but it's also designed so newcomers to the franchise, like me, can easily enter the Halo universe, identify with the characters and be entertained by the story being told on screen."
Halo: Nightfall is an upcoming live-action digital series helmed by Ridley Scott, and is to be included as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Microsoft will offer a 'first look' at Halo: Nightfall at the San Diego Comic Con this month, the company has confirmed.

Capcom Promise'Horrific Special Effects' In Resident Evil 7

Capcom is shying away from announcing a release date for Resident Evil 7. Rumor has it that this game is not going to release anytime soon and we might have to wait till autumn 2015.
The gaming scuttlebutt has passed on various rumors about this game so far, which is to release later this year. We however see no signals from Capcom pointing towards an exact release date, hence, these rumors. News reports also suggest that this incredible survival horror game will be released on the Wii U and Xbox One, simultaneously with its PC version. The integrity of these reports, however, is left to the speculation of worldwide fans of the Resident Evil franchise.
The Japanese media is very well-known for their biased broadcasting of latest PS4 reveals in their press releases, while activity has been quite high in this sector, within the past couple of days. We are hence expecting Capcom to come up with a PS4 version of their game before it is available on any other platforms.
Numerous rumors about the story line and lead characters of Resident Evil 7 has spread throughout the virtual world, but one significant story which caught our attention, states that this storyline is likely to be etched around its last Hollywood installment Resident Evil – Retribution.
Resident Evil 7 Game News
Three previous installments of this game had failed to surprise the fans in terms of expected special effects. Capcom, however is quite confident of their latest addition. According to their media statement, “We are developing the most dramatic and horrific special effects for our fans in this upcoming chapter.”
We have a few insights on this game, confirming the return of some primary characters from previous installments. While Albert Wesker will make a comeback as Ken Lally, Alice – a lead character of the Resident Evil movies – will be featured in Resident Evil 7.
Will Resident Evil 7 fulfill the expectations of its diehard fans? Will Capcom be able to quench the hunger of “horrific special effects” in its fan base? Come back soon and find out, as we bring you the latest tech updates from around the globe.

Resident evil 7 where is it,we round up the latest rumours.

There have been rumors swirling about the upcoming Resident Evil 7 game for well over a year, with a new, conflicting story coming out every couple of days. It can be hard to separate fact but fiction, but we’re going to try. The Resident Evil series is extremely popular, thanks in large part to the movie tie-ins and it’s incredible graphics and game-play. RE 7 has led the way in the horror/sci-fi gaming department and it guarantees this latest release will once again have users impressed and hooked.
Contrary to numerous reports Capcom did not unveil Resident Evil 7 at E3 last month or give us any new details. However, the Japanese media is reporting that the fall of 2015 will be when it’s released and they are very credible in their information. They have also indicated that during its fall release it will only be available for PlayStation 4. However it should be noted that Japan is notorious for concentrating and reporting on PlayStation and RE 7 is expected to be available on all other gaming platforms, including XBox One and possibly a Wii U as well.
As far as plot and characters go it turns out some of the rumors are true. It has been confirmed that at least one old character will be returning: Albert Wesker will be in the RE 7 game, which most likely means he will come face-to-face with his son Jake. There have also been conflicting rumors that Alice (played by Mila Jovovich in the movies) will be in the game and featured in the games mercenary mode, but there is still no confirmation as of yet. In fact, there is a widespread rumor that RE 7′s mercenary mode will feature almost all the old characters, such as: Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen,Barry Burton, Carlos Oliveira and possibly more.
Resident Evil 7
Back from the dead Yet again….?
Credible information has been scarce and we probably won’t know any of the real details until we are closer to the fall 2015 release date. One thing we do know is that Resident Evil 7 is sure to follow in the footsteps of the other Resident Evil games by delivering an impressive look and even more impressive plot to keep users playing for hours.
